CLEANING SHIP'S HOLD

At 09.00 hrs,on the 10th of June, the VIRGO, a British steamship of 3000 dwt, arrived at Tanjung Priok port. This vessel was triperhartered by shipper Messrs. Torang Bulan PT.Jakarta.
Early the same morning an Independent Surveyor instrueted by the shippers inspected the holds.The Surveyor Mr.Frans, requested the master to carry out a further sweeping operations. Then the Vessel's crew swept the hold with hair brooms in order the collect any remaining dust. The operation was repeated at 09.30 hrs on the next day. At the same day the Surveyor came aboard to inspect the hold and pass then as fit to carry grain.
The vessel proceeded to travel to Kobe, Japan. She arrived at 15-49 hrs on the 25th of June. The cargoes were discharged in full and then delivered to the Consignees in good condition.
